Measuring Your Print Size. Consider if this image has enough background area (from the focal image to the edge of the total printed area) so the focal part of the image sits nicely in the center area of your chair frame. For thickly padded or odd shaped frames this may impact on the final design look once upholstered. It is best to measure the width and height required before tear down if you will be re upholstering to the same padding thickness. Alternatively add the padding thickness to your measurements.Measure the widest part of both the width and height to be upholstered. Consider the narrowest width and height measurement, does this cut into the focal image on design?Consider the fabric type and if it will have stretch, you may need to subtract 1/2 to 1" to allow for the stretch.One inch seam allowance will be added in to the total printed area to allow for the area needed to be stapled, trim added and to give a bit of allowance to line up correctly.All monitors are different and display images differently based on brightness, settings. There may be slight color shade variations between what your monitor displays and what printers actually produce
